5 Other Things To Do This Weekend

The days do not have enough hours, at least in my opinion. I keep thinking that I will take some time in the evening to put on a face mask, do my nails or just give myself a good scrub. But when I get home closer to 9pm, sometimes even 10pm, I don't have the energy for it. So if you are like me, take some time this weekend to really pamper yourself. Take a long bath (or shower if you don’t have a tub), put on a face mask, do your nails, drink good wine and eat some chocolate. We tend to forget that this is the only body we will ever have, so we really should pamper it more often.

Spring is fast approaching, so it is about time to go through your closet to see what things from winter you can get rid of to make room for some spring clothes. Maybe it’s quite not time yet to replace all your knitted sweaters with short floral skirts and thin blouses, it is still a bit chilly outside. Instead keep the best from your winter closet and add the best from spring to it, for the most stylish transition from winter to spring.

When the weekend finally gets here, do you sometimes feel torn between wanting to sleep and not wanting to “waste” the weekend? I often find it difficult to get some extra hours of sleep on the weekend without feeling guilty over sleeping away time I could have spent doing other things. But let’s ease our guilt, ok? Let’s make the decision to allow ourselves the luxury of sleeping in without feeling guilty. When else are you going to get the chance to really rest if not on the weekend..?

I know a lot of people that say they are not creative at all, but I don’t think that is completely true. I think we just have this sense of wanting to be “perfect” which stifles our creativity. So why not try to let go of that feeling and let your creative spirit free this weekend. Write, paint, scrapbook or colour coordinate your closet, anything that gets your creative juices flowing!
