Lingerie For Your Feet

I once read that there are two types of women; women who wear lingerie to feel pretty and women who wear heels to feel pretty. I'm not sure if that is true, I mean, what about us women who like to wear both? Should we really have to pick? No!

So, why don't we just combine these two things? And I'm not talking about wearing lingerie and heels at the same time ( which, of course, is fine as well) no, now it is time to wear some of that pretty lingerie - on your feet.

I’m talking about getting the ultimate sexy and seductive look, in a pair of fluffy heels.

Fluffy heels might be a “hell no” for some people, especially since they through time have been more of a "boudoir attire"; making us think of 50’s pinups wearing furry slipper heels and ruffled night gowns.

Not that there is anything wrong with fancy footwear in the bedroom, but after a long day of wearing heels the last thing I want to do when I get home is to change my work heels for another pair of heels, fluffy or not.

So then, the trick to wearing these lovely creations without feeling like a 50’s pinup (or like you left your home in your slippers) is to make them the statement piece of your whole outfit. With these kind of attention-grabbing shoes you don't need any other extraordinary pieces, the simpler the rest of your outfit is, the better.

Statement shoes like this are always great for people who A. don't wear a lot of colour and B. have lost their fashion inspiration. And especially for summer, when your clothing option is limited due to warm weather, a pair of statement heels like this can really make your whole outfit. So, stick to solid colours, and to steal even less attention away from the fluffy beauties, match your nail polish with the colour of your shoes (light colour shoes - light polish, dark shoes - dark polish) just let the shoes speak for themselves!

If you are not sure if this is something for you, and therefore don't want to spend money on a pair, why not make them yourself? Get a pair of old strappy heels, go to a craft store and buy some “fluff” and make your own pair of fluffy heels. If you don’t want to make the transformation permanent; attach the fluff with small stiches, and just leave the glue alone. Good luck!
