If there is one new TV series of 2015 that you should follow, it is Empire. So if you are not already watching it I suggest you do so. So far there have only been 5 episodes, so it is not too late to catch up on the drama. Empire is about a hip hop music and entertainment company, "Empire Enterprises", and the drama among the members of the founders' family as they fight for control of the company. You can expect some really juicy drama as well as a lot of great music, not to mention; the fashion.
In the midst of the drama we have Cookie, newly released from prison, and she is bringing some real drama and a collection of “bad bitch outfits”. Her wardrobe is the perfect balance between “too much” and “on point”, and for Cookie, it is the perfect combination. She mixes bold animal prints with big furs and gold; giving every outfit she wears a feeling of “get out of my face”. There is nothing sweet about this Cookie.
After 17 years in prison Cookie is finally released and takes her first step into freedom dressed in what she most likely was wearing when she got arrested; leopard print dress and a big white fur.
As she enters Empire for the first time, ready to take back the company she helped start before going to prison, her outfit is much more toned-down, but she is still rocking the animal print with a snake skin blouse. Not to mention that hat! Perfection.
Even when she is just relaxing at home her outfit is on point, wearing a jumpsuit and some fuzzy slipper heels.
What do you wear when you are crashing a board meeting? Well, if you are Cookie you go for another animal print dress, a big fur coat and some oversize sunglasses.
Hanging in the club with her son Cookie is going for a tailored jack with leather details.
Another “relax-at-home-outfit”, this time a powder pink cashmere sweater and some gold accessories.
Back to the leopard print, Cookie loves her leopard print. Here the same print as both dress and coat, tying the outfit together with a big gold belt.
While visiting an old friend Cookie sticks to her trusted animal print in the form of a tight pencil skirt matched with some serious gold accessories and a clutch to-die-for.
Whether it is a family dinner or she is back in the board room, Cookie looks great in both these fierce numbers with a splash of green and a bold pink fur.
